Manufacturing System
Integrated system from planning and development to trial and mass production
Asahi Rubber effectively supports client product development with an integrated manufacturing system from planning and development to trial and mass production. With this integrated manufacturing system, we are able to respond to detailed requirements so that clients are able to obtain the maximum value for the product within time and cost constraints.
1. Planning / Proposal
We clearly identify the client “issues or themes” and translate them into specific goals. We can respond to high-mix low-volume production.
2. Design
We select the material and geometric design most suitable for the intended use.
We consider development of new methods and product functions when necessary.
3. Trial
We create prototype based on the geometric design (produce, cut and laser etching of trial mold).
4. Evaluation test
We evaluate (General properties, ageing resistance, oil resistance, weather resistance, flex resistance, fracture load, etc.) with various testing machines to ensure that the product is safe and reliable.
We have self-manufactured endurance testing devices that allow us to meet the demands in every specification.
5. Mass Production
We focus on productive assembly line with jigs and tools suitable for mass production and self-designed and manufactured mass production equipment.
